Sainsbury's to create 10,000 new jobs
Supermarket chain Sainsbury's is to create 10,000 new jobs over the next three years.
The jobs will be in its smaller convenience stores, with the 500th opened yesterday in Hampshire, and a total of 800 planned for the UK.
Simon Twigger, Sainsbury's director of convenience, said: "Opening our 500th store is a real milestone in our plans to create a scale convenience business. The business is going from strength to strength.
"The jobs announced today will range from managerial and team leader roles to customer service.
