'Danger' in reducing benefits - OECD

Thu, 16/05/2013 - 11:50 -- nick

Britain has experienced a crisis of inequality during the financial crisis, according to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

The OECD found that in the UK the “pain of the crisis was not evenly shared”.

Young adults were the hardest hit, with 4% more 18-25 year olds pushed in to poverty between 2007 and 2010.
