Marks & Spencer to create 1,000 new jobs
Retailer Marks & Spencer is to create 1,000 new jobs in the East Midlands.
The shop chain is to open a new distribution centre, with 900,000 square feet of space, in Castle Donington, Leicestershire, in 2013.
Jobs available will include warehouse staff, engineers, mechanics, office staff, transport controllers and managers.
M & S is to work with Remploy, the employment support provider, on a new scheme called 'Marks & Start' at the centre, providing job opportunities to disabled people.
